Congratulations to POFST competitors at the Skate Annapolis Invitational

   The Piney Orchard Figure Skating Team is proud to announce that several of its members enjoyed success at the Talbot County Community Center Ice Rink for the Skate Annapolis ISI Team Competition on Saturday and Sunday, March 15th and 16th.
   The “Beatlemania” Production Team captured its 2nd Gold medal while the Icettes Sr. Youth Synchro Team captured its 1st Gold medal and the Starlettes Jr. Youth Synchro Team its first Silver.
   Other notable individual Gold medal achievements were 5-year-old Kylie Bulger of Crofton in the Alpha division, and Emma Ford, 7, of Hanover for Character Delta. In the Freestyle divisions Gold medals were earned by Madelyn McAteer, 9, of Annapolis for FS1, and Ashley Strong, 10, of Millersville for FS2. Silver medals in Freestyle were earned by Sarah Jane Levine, of Ft. Meade in FS3 for 9 year olds, Lauren Donnelly of Hanover for FS3-10 year olds, and Margaret Brown, 11, of Annapolis in FS4. Bronze medals in Freestyle were worn home by Lauren Bulger, 7, of Crofton for FS3, Allison Fortney, 10, of Millersville for FS4, and Audrey Simmons of Odenton for FS4-12 year olds. Also Sydney Behling, 10 of Millersville, achieved a Silver medal for Artistic FS5. In the Spotlight division Gold medals were earned by Kylie Bulger and Peyton Behling, 5, of Millersville for Couples Low, Lauren Bulger in Light Entertainment FS2-3, and Allison Fortney for LE FS4. Silver medals in Spotlight Light Entertainment were also achieved by Molly McAteer, 7, of Annapolis in Delta, Rylie Noblis, 10, of Crofton for FS2-3, and Alex Newcomb, 14, of Odenton for FS4-5.
   The United States Figure Skating Association tests held at Bowie Ice Arena on Monday, March 24th proved successful for POFST members Niki Newcomb, 16, of Glen Burnie for Preliminary Moves and Pre-Preliminary Freestyle, Grace Bloomfield, 11, of Sherwood for Pre-Juvenile Freestyle, Crofton’s Megan Stilling, 14, for Juvenile Freestyle and Lindsay Wenger of Columbia for Senior Dance.
