November 2005 Bowie USFS Testing Results

Eight skaters from the Piney Orchard Figure Skating Team successfully completed testing at the recent U.S. Figure Skating Association test session at the Bowie Ice Arena.

Crofton's Jessica Kennedy was the highest rated USFSA skater to pass tests, successfully completing her Intermediate Field Moves. Riva's Laura Seal passed her Juvenile Freeskate, and Annie Rackley of Crofton passed her Preliminary Free Skate. Five other skaters -- Odenton's Gina Blades and Leslie Baker, Severna Park's Madison Slattery, Glen Burnie's Sabrina DiStasio and Hanna Diedrich passed additional tests. Blades passed her Pre-Prelimary Free Skate, while DiStasio, Baker, Slattery, and Deidrich completed their Pre-Preliminary Moves-in-the-Field.

USFSA skaters test at eight levels, ranging from pre-preliminary to senior in Field Moves and Freestyle Skating.
